My thoughts on the Arrest

I just bought the book and started reading it as well. As far as the beginning, I agree with Jack on many of his thoughts.

Some parts that are confusing to me at this point are his relationship with the girl in the room next to him, his stance in his building, how much money he makes, and the obvious question of his arrest.
